July 17, 2011 Outdoor Fundraising Family Picnic

Greenwood Conservation Area, Ajax

We had a very successful picnic on Sunday, July 17 - it turned out to be one of the hottest days in the summer, reaching a high of 31o Celsius! Fortunately there were enough trees to provide shade, and the cold watermelon was a very welcome dessert. The children thoroughly enjoyed themselves with all the games and activities organized by our young volunteers Paighe Rojas and Breanne.

April 18, 2010 FUND-RAISER: Gourmet Jamaica Lunch

Our second GOURMET JAMAICA fund-raiser showcased chef Selwyn Richards and The Art of Catering, and our own 'Miss Fern' provided dessert. Thanks to all who participated and helped us raise money for our latest project "New hope for Old Hope" - see News / Issues for details.

Our focus is on being creative, innovative and profitable, while providing fun for children too. So we sell or raffle paintings, books, hand-made blankets, Christmas cards, table sets and other useful items.

We also hold an annual event to spread the word, report on progress and celebrate our successes with family and friends. In the meantime, take a look below at what we have for sale:
